A Beginning

Welcome, my friends, welcome.

Sit down, make yourselves comfortable - for I am about to tell you a tale.

Or at least live one.

This is to be the chronicle. The scrapbook. The memoir. Within these electronic pages I will share my experiences (Do the Latin Americans have Wheel of Fortune?) , my thoughts (mmm...shoes with zippers...) and my mistakes ( of which I am sure there will be many)

For here it starts - the journey that I have been banging on about for nigh on 4 years is finally, blessedly, about to begin.

A plan, I hear you ask, do you have a plan, o ye of the intrepid adventuring?

The answer, dear friends, is "Sort of"

Within the next 18 months I will drop in on the good peoples of the following nations - Chile, Peru, Ecuador, Argentina, Brazil, Canadiaia, the United Kingdom, Italy, Greece and China.

The rest I leave in the hands of the deity of your choice.

And then home again, just like Lassie, having metaphorically saved Timmy from drowning in the Old Mine Shaft. To be a lawyer and quickly lose all that soulfulness that the travelling will have built up.

I will miss you all. Even those of you that I don't actually like. (Kidding!)
